Sis. Carla Outten - Community Outreach

Ms. Carla D. Outten has been attending Just Christ Ministries since October of 2005 and a member
since October 2006. Her passion is working with youth and seeking out resources for those who are in
need. Carla was formally trained in Psychology at Chicago State University and received her Bachelor of
Arts Degree in December 2004. Carla has been spiritually driven to help others and began doing so in
high school as she participated in a peer mentorship program at Hyde Park Career Academy partnered
with the Chicago Urban League. In later years she went on to volunteer for other agencies such as South
Central Community Services, Jobs For Youth Chicago, and the Chicago Abused Women’s Coalition.
Carla’s professional experience has been working with mentally ill individuals, in addition to socially
challenged and disadvantaged youth

Sis. Erica McGhee - Plugging In

As Director of Human Resources Erica has many skills which are utilized within JCM and the
community. Some of her skills are: Effective Team Management and Youth Sunday School Instructor.
She is also a member of the Praise and Worship Team.
